What Are You Tying Today? 2026

Been away from the bench because of things keeping me from staying up later, which is my tying time.

I had to jump on and throw this together tonight, though, because a video made me realize the turkey quills that have been in a bundle in front of me for years include biots. I've never tied with turkey biots because I didn't know what they looked like in feather form or that I had some in my possession 😂

Thanks man I appreciate it. I too enjoy seeing more localized fishing content, what flies are being tied or fish being caught from guys and gals in the PA area.

Hackle - Blue dun hen hackle barbs tied in at the throat
Wing - Gray squirrel tail tied low over the body
