What Are You Tying Today? 2026

Very cool pattern. Is the main material rabbit fur?
The main material is the Olive Barred Rabbit strip. I like the way it moves in the water. And the color is perfect. Some rabbit strips are brighter. I like the more natural, subdued strips.
Barred olive rabbit strip / Mallard flank feather / Yellow calf tail / Olive spun wool head / Tan sparkle dubbing

Size 14 Sulphur Vis-a-Dun
Question for you guys, am I the only one that uses a medium/dark dun hackle for a sulphur? I've seen it tied with light dun but most of the sulphurs I have seen have a slightly darker wing and legs. I was actually stupid when I tied these because I have a really nice Collins Ginger Dun that would have been perfect for this.

I use a medium dun. I'm pretty sure the fish won't get that pickey about the wing shade.
