I love all of your ties, but this is so classic!

I was introduced to these before I ever fished a Prince, and it was also out on the Madison. Pat's Rubber Legs on top for the whities and a small FKA Prince underneath for the trouts got it done that trip.

For me its been the opposite. I've always joked that when I fish a two fly rig that the rubber legs was for the trout, and BH prince was for the whitefish.

This is just ridiculously impressive. I’m not a fly aficionado and usually don’t swoon over tied flies. However, the work, the detail and the patience of these ties is beyond admirable. I don’t have the patience or talent to get a perfect head on an elk hair caddis yet you produce these time and time again. Really remarkable.

Please take this post and mentally add it after every fly you post so I don’t have to keep repeating myself.

Wing - White monga ringtail* tied low over the body
Head - Black with a band of orange chenille tied in at the base of the wing

Glue, attach beading wire to eyelet, just stick it in there😎
