I find it odd that I can say I was fishing with Mr. **** Smith but have to say I was shopping at "Male Genitalia's" Sporting Goods chain.

Dear Board,

I know I'm dating myself with this comment, but back in the day before I ever got to know Jack M. I asked if his last name was, Mehoff.

He was a ball buster right back and we eventually became good friends. I missed him this year at the Jam and not just because we shared a cabin for several years. He was a good man, and I'll miss him as long as I walk the sod.

I'm reaching an age where more and more of my friends are going to die.

Jack and Heritage Angler both weight heavy on me because it had been so long since I talked to either. I haven't been to a jam in many years, but I imagine the loss of the slurred Dylan songs around the fire ring are missed.
