I'd do Fishing Creek. With a little rain (not too much) FC should fish well.Looks like moderate rain on Sunday. With that in mind, would you spend Sunday at Spring Creek or Big Fishing Creek?
IMO Penns is fishable up to 700. Ive seen some say they will fish it to 1000, but thats too much for me.Meant to post this in this thread:
For Penns - Current CFS is 227 and sunday is currently calling for 1 inch of rain spreadout over the course of the day.
Will it be blown out Monday?
Agreed. Very fishable at that point too.IMO Penns is fishable up to 700. Ive seen some say they will fish it to 1000, but thats too much for me.
Hard to say - Penns does tend to get blown out easily, but I think you may be alright. FWIW, Penns this time last year 100 CFS, and the fishing was tough. Rain will definitely help the fishing out. If it does happen to get dirty, streamers on the edges will be productive.Meant to post this in this thread:

Sounds like good big brown conditions. Thanks all for the tips, was out there a couple weeks ago fishing in 600 cfs chocolate milk and streamers on the edges did well.
Well she peaked lower than I feared it might - we got hit pretty hard yesterday. I’m guessing it’s pretty darn muddy though. Curious if you end up fishing it today let us know what it was like?
That's typically the case with Spring and BFC - smaller fish.It was not a great trip overall. Sunday in the rain on Penns was the best by far, was apparently around 1,000 CFS when I was done fishing. Caught them on both streamers and nymphs.
Monday was pretty much a total dud, tried BFC for a little bit and then both lower and upper spring creek. Fish were had but very few and all small. Water was a little stained.
Tuesday was LJ and equally dead but avoided the skunk. Water was pretty dang clear.
Cut the trip short a day due to sick kid at home, but i was feeling good about going back to Penns. Oh well.
