Looks like moderate rain on Sunday. With that in mind, would you spend Sunday at Spring Creek or Big Fishing Creek?

I'd do Fishing Creek. With a little rain (not too much) FC should fish well.

For Penns - Current CFS is 227 and sunday is currently calling for 1 inch of rain spreadout over the course of the day.

Will it be blown out Monday?

IMO Penns is fishable up to 700. Ive seen some say they will fish it to 1000, but thats too much for me.

Agreed. Very fishable at that point too.

Hard to say - Penns does tend to get blown out easily, but I think you may be alright. FWIW, Penns this time last year 100 CFS, and the fishing was tough. Rain will definitely help the fishing out. If it does happen to get dirty, streamers on the edges will be productive.

A cold water spate will get the big girls moving - no matter where you go, I’d concentrate on areas where tributaries empty into a main stem as wild girls will stack up in those areas before pushing to their spawn site - bigger males will be close behind - rain is your friend and black or white streamers should be all you need to upset the feesh
