PCray used the word STEALTH and that's what i was talking about when i said the toughest thing for me was learning to slow down and take in as much of the situation as you can , visually , mentally , etc. DOWNSHIFT , even if there are fish feeding everywhere , if you observe the situation there is probably a monster somewhere in the picture , maybe even waiting to eat one of the rest of the hoards that have us in a frenzy. Havin only one leg helped with this also but growing older also played a big part. Learned things like , wait until the breeze moves the leaves until you move , dress more "blend in" not always camo but it doesn't hurt , take some time to formulate a plan when you encounter a bunch of feeding trout , so as to maximize the number of them you can catch without charging in to get one only to put the rest of them down. Another thing said was you can never reach perfection , and i agree with that 100% , but if you slow down and take in as much as possible , you can ALWAYS reach IMPROVEMENT.
