LeTort or Laurel Run?

Hoping to get a quick answer. I'm meeting my friend tomorrow near Carlise, PA. Looking for a stream to hit for a few hours. Looking at the PA trout map has me thinking either the Letort or an hour away to the Frank Masland natural area for brook trout. Never fished either. Which do you think would be our best bet? Thanks!

Never been to the other place. But I can say that if you fish the Letort, you should know what to expect and be prepared for frustrating fishing. Not saying it isn’t worth it for the experience, history and chance at saying you caught a fish from it, but yeah.

Is there a reason it’s either the Letort or driving an hour away? There is a ton of water in the Carlisle area that would fish well and be less frustrating than the Letort. Michaux state forest streams can be tricky but there are a lot of brookies up there if you are dead set on catching them. Probably a half hour or less from the Letort heritage section.
