This fly was originated by Marc LeBlanc. This fly was invented for fishing the Gagne pool on the Little Cascapedia were it works very well.

Edit: Huh. I just watched a couple videos out of curiosity, and it appears that at some point I added the flash tail and underwing to the original recipe. Must've been in my cups, but I've been doing it that way for years.
@hooker-of-men, thanks for posting that video!!!

I tied my own version and went to the stream after work today using an “all terrestrial” dry dropper with The GFA Hopper & unweighted Green Weenie.

One little wild brown & rainbow took the hopper and the other wild brown took the GW (a lot of sunfish took that too).
