#14 Sulphur frenchies. Late for this year, but I've been thinking about how I have these in caddis green and [definitely not egg] pink but not in a yellow. They work in the other colors, so why not. These will be a reminder in the nymph box for next spring

Author's Note

Gilles Dessureault lives in Lévis, more precisely in the Saint-Romuald district, and has been fly fishing for many years. Like all experienced salmon anglers, he suffers from acute salmonitis (a thankfully incurable condition) durinthe winter season, and he enjoys designing flies for the upcoming fishing season. About twenty years ago, he inventedthe Polar, a fly that deserves to be better known. In fact, since then, it has brought him particular success on the Bonaventure River. In his opinion, it would be most effective in partly sunny conditions and tied on size 6 to 10 double hooks.
