It has no chance at all of passing. People in both eastern and western Oregon would vote against it in overwhelming numbers.Agree. I only point this out to illustrate the disparity between those who live in rural Oregon verses those who live on the coast. As someone who has fished tailwaters in eastern Oregon, I'd hate to this legislation pass.
It's like a proposition to ban ice cream. It's nonsense.
They didn't even get enough signatures to get it on the ballot, so it won't even come up for a vote.
In some ways it might have been better if it had come for a vote, so everyone could see it fail overwhelmingly.
I couldn't find any poll of Oregon voters on this. Apparently, no poll has been done.
If it would come up for a vote, what do yinz estimate the percentages for and against would be?
