PA brook trout

Assuming the photo isn't enhanced, that's a pretty fish, regardless of whether it's native or stocked. I would've loved to have landed it and posted it so we all can love it or hate it. Nice catch, kid.

Now that one Sal caught in 2017 and FoM posted . . . I'm still looking for that fish.

Dear Board,

I want to know if the kid was standing in a plastic rain containment barrel? Those aren't waders.

Regards,

Tim Murphy 🙂

Yeah I just posted it the other week remember? This fish was 15.5. I call it 15" cause of the rudimentary way of measuring off a rod. I was confident with xalling it 15".

Compare this fish and that fish. His is much larger than 16". The anal fin along has to be over 4"
Edited, at first thought this fish and the one in the post could be the same size. But there's a video on the Instagram page too and after viewing that, it is easily 17-18" range. Agree that it's stocked, the dorsal gives it away, as it almost always does.

Then they're one and the same, Sal/FoM?
Yes guys, I'm Sal. You guys don't read the new member/intro posts much do you? 😛

I had sometime because my work schedule/responsibilities temporarily changed but that is coming to an end. I enjoy it here in spurts but I hate the online thing anymore and frankly I'm just very busy in the ministry of our Church. It has been the greatest honor and privilege to serve Christ and His Church.

The fish might not be a native but its a big beautiful brook trout. The kid should be happy just in that.
