One of the clubs stocked monsters like that in Little Mahoning about 18 years back. Fins and all. Not sure where they got them but the one i caught had a kyped jaw. I remember walking into the old Fishin' Post to tell John about it and he started laughing as soon as I walked in. He said something like'"let me guess...".

Cmon boys its all ai these days lol lol. I even got a few huge gemmies that were 18 + that were beautiful co op sportsmens club plants that looked every bit wild lol lol to the untrained eye i believe that is what is going on here. Trust me these people think were all dummies here and dont know the diff. Mostly kids who want their 15 mins of fame

I have a hard time believing it's real. He said it was 16" but this looks quite a bit bigger.

Thing is, I've caught a fair amount of dream size natives in PA over they years.
My 15.5" native was no where near the size of this fish in the OP.

Likewise, I have never in the handful of 15" fish, the double fists of 13"-14" fish or the multitude of 10"-13" fish, ever seen a native with that spot pattern. That is stocked genetics through and through. Now larger than 16" fish, 20" or more might start looking like that. Im confident in saying there are no more 20" natives in PA, anywhere.

Its a nice fish, I wish I caught it but it isnt a native.

Yeah I just posted it the other week remember? This fish was 15.5. I call it 15" cause of the rudimentary way of measuring off a rod. I was confident with xalling it 15".

Compare this fish and that fish. His is much larger than 16". The anal fin along has to be over 4"

Beautiful fish. Or were the colors enhanced. Just sagjn i know with all these settings on cameras we can pretty much manipulate anything

Orvis CFO lll is 3" in diameter. Fish is a little bigger than 15" if that anal fin is 3" and it certainly is, this fish is about 20"
