October Caddis

So I tie a green *** Walt’s in the spring as a cased caddis. Some have green thread near the hook bend and others have green ice dub. With the October caddis should I tie a version with an orange butt or orange ice dub?

I've never personally seen a caddis nymph with an orange a$$, but that's not to say they don't exist. Probably worth spinning a few up to have with you.

I've had days where a GAW out fished Walt's/Hare's Ears 5 to 1. If fish can be that picky, then it's not a bad idea to have a variety of offerings to throw at them.

If we tie ‘em with the hook point cut off who’s to argue that it’s not a totally deadly pattern!! That’s taking C&R to another level
