As some of you may know, my blog is called Sick Days Fishing for good reason. Sometimes you just know you have to burn a day, and that is what I did on Wednesday this week.

Closely watching the gages since Monday, I benefitted twice from the Isaias bump. I caught a colored up fish that was a day maker and then was fortunate enough to use my "bonus tag" for a bigger buck not 30 minutes later. No regrets 🙂

Two shots of each fish. I am not a glutton. I even went home after Mr. October #2.

Work has largely prevented me from doing any rain chasing the last couple of years. Skies seem to be parting in a way that will make that much more possible in 2027. Wanna get back at it. Conditions, conditions, conditions…

Good stuff nw.
