Well, it took awhile for me to outsmart the maxima spools.. some of the older ones i’ve had don’t have this and some do.. Is this a new thing or did i really just not notice it until now

Just go to Dollar Tree and buy a bag of Scrunchies or whatever they call these tippet tenders. You'll never have a spool unravel.

I prefer to stuff a dozen of these into a Crown Royal bag and let the tag ends spill out like some sort of demented cephalopod.

do they make that big of a difference? i’ll give it a try- i’ve tried rubber bands but those don’t even help
