I presume that means George Maciag no longer does their fly tying classes, either, then?
I don't recall Ed working there. Stopping by often, but not working. I thought Shane was doing casting lesso ns but maybe I have that backwards.
I really don't know, the last time I was there was two or three years ago for something else and I was hard pressed to find any tackle when I walked by the area where it USED to be located.
But I know Ed was working there, part time because he mentioned it more than a few times on PAFF. He & I were also going back & forth via email because he exploring the possibility of getting me an L.L. Bean bamboo rod at a discount that I believe were being made by Gary Lacy at the time.
The rod deal never happened. I don't remember the exact reason, but it might have been because he gave up the job.
The reality is, I used to live very close to the Promenade Shops and Bean's was always someplace I stopped, but these days I only go to Fresh Market or the Wine & Spirits store and I drive right past L.L. Bean.
