I Caught my First Trout on a Fly Rod

[jifigz]

Congrats on the official start of your journey! You’ll go through many phases (numbers of fish, size of fish, destination angling, etc) but you’ll always remember your first one on the fly - 😎👍🏼

I think this is probably true for most, and I had forgotten about my first fish on the fly until right now. Mine was a small wild brownie caught in the winter, but I can't remember which fly it ate. 🤔

Congratulations. I don’t remember my first one fly or spin. I only remember the last one.
