Long-time lurker, first-time poster. I’m a semi-novice fly fisherman—got a few years under my belt and finally have the basics down. Between four kids, two dogs, a wife, and a never-ending list of chores, rides, and daily fires to put out, I don’t get on the water nearly as much as I’d like.
When I do sneak away, it’s usually a family affair. I mostly fish with my 12-year-old daughter and a buddy of mine who is handicapped. Our go-to local spot is where the Conococheague runs through the Legion grounds I am a member of. I also love hitting the open sections of the Yellow Breeches and a few other solid spots nearby. Come late November, you can find me chasing Steelhead up in the Erie tributaries.
Always looking for new spots to try out or some fellow enthusiasts to swap stories with.
