I know this question has been asked before, but I am not sure any clarity is ever reached: What color dubbing do you use on your grannom dries?

I am on a slight Henryville Caddis tying kick and thought I would spin up a few in a grannom shade. I am hackling these with a barred ginger that has been dyed a medium dun for no other reason than I just purchased it and it looks cool.

So specifically what color and brand/style are you using?

I am also aware that wet flies probably work better.

Anything from black, dark brown, to peacock will likely get it done. Maybe add a green egg sack for some. I usually go dark brown.
