Quick update for anyone following along 🎣
This week I added two things to Fly Tying Inventory (https://www.flytyinginventory.com) for people who share their own patterns.

Public patterns now have a heart. When you're signed in, you can like other people's patterns (not your own), and tap again to take it back. A pattern shows how many likes it has, never who liked it.
🆕 The Patterns page has a new "New" list of everyone's public patterns, newest first. It's for members only and isn't in search engines.
🔔 You get a notification when someone likes one of your patterns.
🏅 Badges
Badges are a small thank-you for contributing, and most are awarded automatically:
- 📝 saving your first pattern, and sharing one
- 📸 filling one out with a photo and at least 3 materials and 3 steps
- ✅ getting patterns accepted into the Community library
- 👀 people visiting and liking your patterns
- 🧵 stocking your bench
Your top badge shows next to your name on your public patterns.
🔒 You choose the name a shared pattern is credited to, your notes are never shown, and you can make any pattern private at any time.
It's still free, and I'm still building it for fun 🪶 If you tie something you're proud of, share it. I'd love to see more patterns in the New list. And keep the feedback coming 💬 here or with "Send feedback" in the app.
