Thinking of making it out to central PA this weekend. I know the flows are slightly above average and dropping right now, so I'm hoping some rain will keep those flows at a nice level. Plan is to get out at sunrise and get off the water by noon- then maybe hit some mountain streams.

Any friendly advice?

Fish hard friends,

Seems like a solid plan. I'm partial to Penns, and don't mind a little bit higher water (500 CFS doesn't sounds too bad). My only concern would be more so water temps/clarity. Though the 50 degree nights should definitely help!

Wherever you end up, post a report!

Just go and adapt. Perfect river conditions are subjective to each persons ideal conditions....me i prefer higher dirty flows. Because i like swinging for the fence...others perhaps not....be adaptable for all conditions. It will make you a better angler
