Your favorite streamside photo

Sorry for spamming the thread, but fly fishing, travel and photography are my things. It’s nice when they all work together.
I dare say you are expert in all three areas! Thanks for sharing 😎

This was on my hike to where the fish were, but it’s my favorite fishing photo.

This is where my wife and I spent our summers for 18 years on the Yellowstone River in Montana.

That is Emigrant Peak in the distance, to the right of the picture. Some of you have been to Chico Hot Springs or the Sage Lodge, both of which are located at the foot of that mountain.

Here is the same view in late spring when the lilacs are blooming.

One local and one destination photo from the past year. An unnamed northern MD brook trout stream and Dream Lake in Rocky Mountain NP.

Baker’s Hole (and a campground by the same name) is on the Madison River along Hwy 191 just north of West Yellowstone. In the Fall, large trout move into the river from Hebgen Lake, and can be caught here and elsewhere in the river, many by swinging wet flies - one popular local pattern is called, what else?, the Baker’s Hole wet fly.

I would have thought your raft would have been harder than that to turn over in that water.😃

Where was that?
I gave up trying to get the photo to rotate! That was a guided trip Middle Fork Flathead, Glacier Guides and Montana Raft Co. We caught a few cutthroat and I had a greyling. Amazing float!

Sorry all - I can’t pick just one - with over 35,000 photos on my externals I can narrow it down a bit to these:

1. Bart Lombardo (Panfish on the Fly) club water Raritan River somewhere in New Jersey

2. My oldest son showing a nice loop at Fisherman’s Paradise, Spring Creek PA

3. A look at Trindle Spring, Cumberland County PA

4. Last Autumn view of “The Run”, Boiling Springs PA - before the destruction

5. Rockville bridge launch, Susquehanna west shore, Marysville PA

6. An erstwhile Brother in law near Woodbury Pike, Yellow Creek Bedford county PA

7. My lovely wife counting coup at “The Run” Boiling Springs PA - way before the destruction - this photo won a PAFF photo contest about ten years ago - how time flies …
