A friend of mine and I fished the Yough tail races from about 6am til 1pm. 5 bows were had between the two of us. Fish were frequently rising above the bridge but would not be fooled by anything I flung their way. Fished the Maryland section of the Yough from the power plant down. Water was extremely low and trout seemed to be almost completely absent. Lots of fall fish and rock bass. It was only our second time fishing the maryland portion of the Yough and it was disappointing to say the least. I have heard nothing but great things about this part of the river so expectations were pretty high. Is it usually like this during this time of year?
