i thought the last two summers sulphurs were weak.. may, this year was good to me on the river but june i thought i only had a ~handful or less days were the yellow's were getting smoked and fish were consistently eating… i spend a lot of days there too so i’m set to up see more than ones who aren’t fishing it as much of courseFished yesterday and was sorely disappointed with the insect life. Normally there is something hatching this time of year, be it olives, sulphurs, cahills, caddis, or terrestrials. Saw nothing but a few caddis yesterday. Very few fish rising (not surprising given nothing to rise to), maybe one rise every 10 minutes in sight. This makes probably 3 times this summer I've been disappointed. Has there been some event that has systematically reduced the hatches there? Let me know your experience.
