Floated the Middle Yough from Confluence to Ohiopyle Friday. Mostly sunny day with water temps in the high 40s near Confluence early in the day and in the low 60s near Ohiopyle at the end of the day. Flow was about 1300 CFS, and the water was clear. We saw some Grannom caddis and a few Hendrickson's, but the fish were not active on the surface. Nymphing with caddis larvae produced 3 nice rainbows mid day ranging from 15 to 19 inches. We also picked up a smallmouth chucking streamers later in the day. Great to get out and enjoy the sunshine!

Topwater action should be coming soon.

Glad you and Don got some fish! Great water conditions, but some cloud cover may have done wonders for you guys. Then again, its the Yough, so maybe not. LOL!

Next float, I'm in, regardless of job/weather/health.

The River looks so big in the first picture. I miss her.

Alby doesn't call me anymore, JK Greg. Couldn't make that day anyway. Nice trip don't forget me next time.

Catch you next time Norm.

Jack, your honey hole will be turning on bye next week if my guess is right.

Enjoyed the day the river and the fishing
Sorry I lost Alby's bow it was a long fight and no picture cause I dropped it out of the net.
Adventure of fishing with a newby.

At least I got to watch the battle and had some fun of my own
