I started at page 1 of this thread and I am in awe. Seeing the talent you guys have is amazing. I went through 5 pages and it is like an art exhibit! I don't think that i could ever do this. Excellent work guys and I'm always here to field test some of your artwork! Lol

I to would love to have all these in a glass display case for showing ,good job on that first rainbow on the fly rod,your hooked now , literally,just keep at it having fun and learning is the most important part not huge numbers,we catch wild brownies up to 24 inches on the Clarion up to the end of our deer season and since yours is over let me know if you can drive out this way one Saturday and we'll see if we can hook a couple ,look up Brown Trout addiction fly shop and guide services Don's my buddy and taught me how to on that river

Thanks I will let you know if I can .I work retail ( i manage 2 Giant Eagle stores ) so holiday weeks are tough

Tail - Scarlet red hackle barbs
Ribbing - Flat silver tinsel
Body -Pearl crystal chenille
Wing - Dyed blue gray squirrel tail tied over the body
Hackle - Kingfisher blue tied on as collar and tied back

It’s been a few months since I tied a fly, it’s been a while since I tied a hackle stacker and it’s been a while since I tied Wally wings. So I practiced all three today. This was the best of three. Will have to knock off a little more rust.

Hook - 14 2XL dry fly hook
Thread - UTC 70, burnt orange
Tail - Tan micro fibets
Body - Pink organza ribbon
Wing 1?- Brown hackle on a dark olive spanflex post
Wally wing - Mallard flank
Thorax - Ice dub, rusty orange
