Photo lighting makes it tough to see the fly. It’s best to start with the basic patterns, they are the stepping stones that lead to the more complex patterns. Looks like your proportions are correct and it appears you have crowded the head area a bit, let’s see more😎

I stumbled across an old vintage box of Mustad 3906 B hooks in size 12, so I spun up a Partridge and Yellow on one of them.

Keep practicing. Manage your thread wraps and set yourself a starting point on shank of the hook with your thread. Don’t put any wraps in front of your starting point to help you avoid rushing the eye of the hook when you finish your fly. Keep up the good work!
