Yeah, I am partly just being a wise-***, but I do find the color alarming.

I have also found that my old internal metrics of when it's storm chasing go time based on the TP gage have to be drastically altered in recent years.

I did catch a mess of fish on Friday in 75 CFS on a jigged bugger. I have nothing but respect for these invasive salmon-trout. You have to be pretty resilient to thrive in SEPA these days!

I used to be a regular and had something of a big fish bite dialed in on the right days, but I fear crowds, so my Valley visits have been drastically curtailed and usually limited to winter because the travel math works in the short winter window, as it's my closest wild trout stream.

Probably largely depends upon where one fishes, particularly if one fishes special reg areas. New fly anglers in particular may not know where else to go or the first waters to which they are referred are special reg areas. I’ve never noticed it on regular stocked trout waters under statewide regs. Likewise for the wild and stocked waters that I typically bike along.

The "green line" streams seemed to be a lot busier during COVID, which drove me to a lot of the natural repro streams. As you know, they can often be "diamonds in the rough"!
