The fish are wher you find them.
There are wild trout from the mouth all the way up to were the stream is narrow enough to straddle with one foot on each bank. Wherever there is good cover, there are fish. The wild fish hide like you wouldn't believe. Some stretches are better than others but the higher you go the better it gets. Also, there are more fish than you think in the mediocre water, the just bolt at the slightest disturbance.
But yes, the stocked fish get removed one way or another.
I think this stream could easily be class A, especially with the right habitat improvements. The FFO section is so-so at best with a few very good holes. Conditions are definately good enough for spawning and year round fishing.
