jason s and i met up yesterday at the stackhouse school , from there we went upstream into the wading section, surprisingly there werent too many fishermen out . jason landing the first one on a BH walts worm and me getting my first taste of spring creek wild browns also on walts worm, we fished upstream to the pipeline crossing. jason landing about 5 i think ,and me getting 3 mostly on the above mentioned walts worm. jason swithed to an olive wooly bugger all the while there were very few micro caddis, i belive they were tan and about a size 18 . no olives and a few craneflies in the air. we moved down stream about 3:00 went down below the hachery, to where spring creek rd crosses the creek. we fished down stream from the bridge jason quickly getting 3 off the bat on the olive woolybugger and i had one one a pt nymph . made it back upstream to find a pool of risers and #18 bwo's comming off nicely, and i picked a few more up there . and even had the pleasure of seeing an osprey catching a nice wild brown and flying of with it . we fished until 5:30 then the rain moved in and broke everyhitng up.
