Just an update, the Douglas has now sold just leaving the St. Croix.

You should! Should be a fine long range dry fly stick and I've always thought the Elite's were beautiful and neat rods. At $150 if you don't like it you could resell it and get your money back. I'm tempted too, but have no trips planned for the Delaware now so I am simply not in the mood to start picking up power dry fly rods. I'm currently thinking of gear for steelhead...
