SE PA. We went from an inch predicted 3 days ago down to 1/4 inch now predicted day of, again. Last week same thing. 3 inches, tropical storm. Not even a half inch actually received as best i could tell, possibly even less. We are in a rut here

The Air mass actually dry out due to the land mass absorbing moisture. kind of like the desiccant packages in some foods or items,

it was welcomed, but the rain we got last night will hardly bump central PA streams. Unfortunately, we need the leaves to drop and more vegetation die before water levels recover appreciably.
I think Erie/NY got a nice bump.

Yes I fished a couple popular central / south central PA fisheries Friday and they were pretty normal looking to me for mid October. I had really good fishing too.
