Pohopoco Update

I was looking at an old thread on the Pohopoco Creek. Has anyone been there recently. I'm interested because I has other reasons (family) to be in that area. I was born and raised in Lehighton. BTW: I'm a beginner and I've been warned about the Lehigh But what about Walnutport area?
