I'm a fan and like this guy.

It seems folks trained in fisheries biology - think Guy Harvey or Joe Tomelleri - really have a knack for portraying fish in a detailed and accurate way. . . with a passion for their subject. No surprise, I suppose.

I chatted with him a year or so ago about the possibility of him doing an original trophy portrait of one of my trout. I didn't have the cash at the time, but I recall it being quite reasonable.
