Which is uncalled for because we all know moosetracks is the best. This is why ice cream stands offer 85,000 flavors.
That's only because there are only about 3 ice cream stands on Earth that still sell Teaberry! 😉Which is uncalled for because we all know moosetracks is the best.
I recently took my grandson to a local stand that had limon cello ice creamWhich is uncalled for because we all know moosetracks is the best.
I remember liking (Adams) Teaberry gum as a kid and would even eat the berries I found while hunting or fishing. Our local Weis (in southern MD) had some teaberry ice cream which was good but nothing like what one could get scooped out of a big tub at places like Dairy Land on our drives from Lewistown to Erie. That's only because there are only about 3 ice cream stands on Earth that still sell Teaberry! 😉

Dear GoldenRfly and others,@Bamboozle.. thanks for posting this.
I’m not fond of knot tying and loop-to-loop is fine for me. I’m sure I’ve “cow hitched” before. I went out to the stream for about an hour tonight. Half way through I switched flies and leaders and made sure I “handshaked.” Good tip!
Poe Valley snack bar has it.That's only because there are only about 3 ice cream stands on Earth that still sell Teaberry! 😉
Last I used them was when Eagle Claw held the ownership - and I would be on the water some 200 days per year (that was a long time ago…) - they worked very well - the problem was from the hinging effect on the fly line side - the PVC coating would eventually crack at the end of the “football” where the fly line was inserted - I had a Cortland 333 that became threadbare and almost failed - it took several months of neglect - I just pulled the knot out of the center, clipped off the bad stuff, tied a new knot and pulled it back in - it worked fine for another six months or so and then I repeated the process many times - eventually the plastic failed as the hard nylon knot pulled through one day - a whopping twenty one cent loss and about 1 inch of the tip of the 333 total for hundreds of hours on the water - worth trying and I believe they’re available in bright orange colors for strike detection - winning!Anyone remember those little plastic-torpedo-clippy gimmicks for securing leader to fly line?
I actually saw some at a few mom & pop tackle shops/hardware stores out in the midwest, on faded display boards for sale, recently. Maybe someone still makes/uses those? LOL

After a quick search to satisfy my curiosity, I see these things still being offered for sale online as well, right now! Might just have to try it to see for myself. LOL

I believe all of the Meadows ice cream locations include Teaberry in their daily flavor rotation. This is soft serve. My other always bought Teaberry flavored Carnival ice cream at Weis Market.Poe Valley snack bar has it.

Dear dudemanspecial,FYI Meadows is custard, not normal ice cream. Personally both my taste buds and digestive tract are not a fan.
My dad used those on some lines, and he referred to them as a Grain of Rice. I'm not sure if that was the company's terminology or just something he made up.Anyone remember those little plastic-torpedo-clippy gimmicks for securing leader to fly line?
