Heat Dome - Stay cool

I love ponds but those receiving cold water like that should be banned. I know when we did stream work on the lower Segloch, the farmer was allowed a pond where some colder water trickled through some wetlands. One step forward, 2 steps backwards.
That's frustrating especially on such a unique stream like Segloch. This one I'm looking at is on state park land so we are looking into having it removed. The fisheries staff in the region are supportive, it would be a nice win for the closest wild trout stream to DC.

When those heat domes collapse the air mass sometimes wrings out. Flash flooding was pretty intense up here today. 2.6" in my rain gauge 1.9" fell over a 40 minute time period. Looking at Doppler radar estimates, we're not the only PA towns that experienced this.
Weather models suggest more heavy rain for PA over the next few weeks so maybe we can get in some summer troutin.
