Steelhead fishing can be good at least until early spring, you have plenty of time to get up there if you still want to.

That sounds right. I had saved it from a FB post to show someone and deleted it. I restored it today and it placed it on Jan 1st but it had to be that same crazy wind day, regardless. I thought it was incredible.

I have a couple as well. My belly allows me just body surf sufficiently without a vehicle but I'm gonna need a whole lot more bourbon.

With more favorable temps on the way, I was wondering what conditions the tribs are in. Im sure they are all still below 40 degrees, but are they at least ice free in the upper parts of the creeks? I hate climbing over “leftover” ice to get access to the water.

Yeah jigs under a bobber white marabou 1 3/2 nd with some crystal flash..try conrail tubes north of rte 5. Always fish there. Mix of dark and always some brighter ones seeing how its only like a mile from the lake. Good luck
