The only tiger I've ever caught was stocked the day before I caught it on the Clarion river in front of the Heath twp sportsman club hatchery on memorial day weekend,it was a 18-19 incher but doesn't really count In my book ,once you catch the wild trout fever stocks do not count IMO,

Mandatory harvest of browns would be the only possible solution I can think of. But, two things would get in the way. One, is the minimum legal harvest size for trout, and enforcing such a regulation being the other.

Protective regulations for brook trout and a reduction in the excessive stocking of browns are solutions that could be implemented immediately.

If you think about it, considering how small most natives are, you'd need a bunch of them to actually make a meal of them. Can't imagine keeping them.
