First outing for a brand new rod from Christmas - Graywolf Bully 6 foot 5 weight translucent e-glass rod - first cast with the new rod - first outing for a recently purchased Hardy Marquis #6 spooled with a new Cortland WF5F Sylk - the setup handles like an absolute dream and my patience was rewarded with a fish on the very first cast (practice or otherwise) for this soon to be favorite rig - perfect Kayak rod or medium size trout in tight cover - hopefully there will be more fish-pics with this rod!
