WW JAM 2026

I have to go to the Lewisburg before the Lewistown, but I will be there Friday evening at some point. I will have some trout gear with me... I will hit you up offline about any food needs.

Yow-wee!

Folks, I am not canceling, but I understand if you choose not to attend. The Juniata is projected to rise quite a bit to unfishable levels. Looking at my own rain gauge and other surrounding areas' total rainfall on Raindrop, there will be places to fish, but it won't be the Juniata River.

The Juniata will most likely be fishable tomorrow morning before it really begins to rise. Right now, it looks pretty much perfect, but that will all change soon as the water makes its way downriver.

In a sense, this will have to be somewhat of a different sort of WW Jam. The closest warm water that will likely be fishable is the Tuscarora in Juniata County. Otherwise, there should be trout streams that are fishable and in decent enough shape.

I have people counting on wine and honey so I will be coming, fishing will be a bonus. Appreciate the heads up. We could change it to white water floats. just sayin.

BTW Saturday is supposed to be a beautiful day. I am sure we can make some lemonade.

Still coming. Need to get out of Dodge. Bringing subs for tomorrow as mentioned. Have Orzo salad for dinner Saturday. Found some Trace at the fun store today. Hopefully get there before the surge Friday. Sub shop opens at 11. Be there around1230, subs in hand. Old guys are good at having fun at doing nothing, worst case scenario. I won't be at work. I do know that.

Chester County got hit hard from the storm with wind and rain. Looks like I'll be wielding a chainsaw instead of a fishing pole today. Have fun guys, hope you get into some decent fishing somewhere.

Heading there now, should be there by 8pm to say hello

I am packing a tent,but i can’t find my air matress 🤣
I have to leave tomorrow

Fun times!

thanks to Josh and his parents. Good to see new people and some "old".
Of course there had to be an intense storm.. it's tradition.
Had to pivot to trout fishing, but someone managed to catch a SMB. I'll let him tell the story
Dear nymphingmania,

I've only ever attended one WW Jam as a day tripper, who got dumped on with rain and left when the clouds broke.

But your first line is the main point of my post. The fact that Josh and his family open up their property for people most of them don't know says a lot about them, and I'll always be grateful for their generosity.

I hope that next year is a little more favorable weather-wise, but I certain the people wo came to it this year managed to have a good time.

Regards,

Tim Murphy 🙂

Who you calling old? 🤔

Here's the token smallie. Also caught some rainbows. Plenty of trout fishing.

Great place to get away. Big thanks to Josh, as always.

Oh, and if someone finds a pair of sunglasses. Let me know. They're my backup but they are prescription and if I can get them back id like to. PM me if found.

Thanks to all of you guys for being great guests. While our warm water fishing might not have been possible, I think everyone was pretty well satisfied with our trout fishing excursions. Honestly, it might have been some of the best fishing we've ever had at our "warm water jam." I caught trout on all three days. Here are a few fish pics from the weekend.
