WW JAM 2026

Scott, I'll be down there at about 9 am I think. I'll have to get that big tent setup, and that's a pain in the ***.

Was planning on a noon arrival, will try to move that up. save me a bite. I'll be bringing a flank steak again this year for the community meal Saturday. And a bunch of ground meat for burgers.

so i've been trying to ignore advice and head out for another josh jam, but looks like i'm 90% out on this one. gonna miss attending, it's always a good time. hope you guys have a blast.

I should get there friday AM, also around 9:30AM, barring an unplanned disaster.

If anyone is up for a float (2 person raft)- starting after setup friday or saturday AM let me know. Otherwise, I'll leave the raft at home.

At Josh's request, I plan to bring the beans he likes. I think this year I'll split the batch up for friday and Sat. The last two years they seemed to dry out

Unfortunately l’m not going to be able to attend this year either. I hope you all have a blast. Somebody else will need to wield the bug zappers!!

The river is in excellent shape right now, but there are chances of widespread rains today of up to and a little more than an inch. It's hard to say what impact this might have on the river. Maybe none, or maybe a lot.

My advice: throw a trout rod in and some appropriate flies just in case.

I am seeing 1.4" in Lewistown. then rain on Saturday. Getting squirrely. Might wreck the yard. keep us posted. I'll be watching guages.

Less optimistic than 2 days ago. I planned to bring trout gear as a back up. By Saturday the Big J tribs should be fishable. yes, rain of about 0.75- 1in in the area, but it will be over 8 or more hours. Things get screwed up this time of year when we get 1 inch in an hour.

I fished in Huntingdon last night the water was still stained. Top water was practically non-existent. Caught good numbers of 12-15 inch bass on buggers.

dumpity dump dumping here right now. Will either go right over you just north. Its whats behind that that is more likely to moisten things up though.

The way it's raining right now, things aren't looking good. I have a feeling that the river will not be fishable........

Dear jifigz,

Unfortunately, I've decided to stay home. They are forecasting the river to be over 9 feet in Lewistown on Sunday. Even if they are off by 3 feet the river is going to be rough.

Regards,

Tim Murphy 🙂
