I'm soft already.
But to a related point, my fishing year has been just poor all around: local streams, the River, lakes for green bass, the big Limestoners.
My year fishing is to fishing anti-porn like a video of a guy getting shot-down repeatedly would be to the real thing.

The brownie photo was taken AFTER I got the fly out, but it was a size 16 EWC:
It's not fly fishing, but I'm also into "microfishing" which is a bait fishing method using special rods, hooks and tackle, similar to Tanago fishing in Japan where the goal is to catch really small fish.
The other day I managed my smallest fish so far which was a dace barely an inch long however, I don't take pictures of fish any more.

No worries - tiny fish on tiny flies/spinners/jigs etc. are sometimes skunk savers and count as “one in the hand” anytime!
