Simms x Grateful Dead

God bless the Grateful Dead.

They weren't the best at what they did, they were the only one's who did what they did.

FWIW: Jerry Garcia saw his dad drown while fishing the Trinity River in northern California. Not sure if he was fly fishing though.

Doing a bit of research, I read his dad was indeed fly fishing when he slipped on a rock and was carried down by the current. Jerry said it messed him up psychologically for years. Very understandable.

Dear wildtrout2,

That was Bill Graham who said that about the Dead, but it became Pierre Robert's tagline on WMMR back in the day.

Coincidently, yesterday was Pierre's birthday too. I loved him when I lived around Philly way back when. I always kind of liked the Dead, but Pierre made that grow and grow until it's SIRIUS channel 23 until death do us part!

Take some time and ponder the days between and smile, smile, smile!

Regards,

Tim Murphy 🙂

I couldn't think of better music to represent Simms' declining product quality.

Does Orvis / Phish collab gear actually exist?
You'll have to wait for them to sell the company and become desperate to show their corporate overlords improving sales after cutting corners on quality.

Fwiw, I just found out that the simms sign has been taken off the headquarters building in Bozeman. Interpret that as you may.
