My son was off school this Friday so we set off on an adventure. We were on the water by 10:30 AM. Air temps near 60 and sunny. I didn't get a stream temp. I had one rise to a dry, but we caught them all underwater on stonefly nymphs, green weenies, yellow egg, and flourescent caddis larvae.

My boy caught a wild brown and a stocked rainbow. Some of his first mature fish on a flyrod. I caught 5 of the stocked rainbows. The fish ranged in size from about 9 to 15 inches. It was a gorgeous day on the water and a joy to share it with my son.
