Thanks Dave Kile for continued encouragement to share stream reports. I'll try not to be so selfish...
Floated from Confluence to Ohiopyle with PaFF member glenfiddich. Oars in about 9 am and out about 6 pm. The day was cooler than forecast with air temps starting out about 50 and never going much above 55, overcast until mid afternoon. Water temps were about the same range.
We saw tan and black caddis and a surprising number of march browns on the water, but not a single rise observed all day.
It was a generally slow day on the water, but fortunately the streamer bite turned on about 11 am and each of us were able to land a nice brown.
The Yough is always fickle...
