Fished above the Smithton Bridge from about 730 P to dark. The mooneyes* were rising and I fooled a handful on a caddis dry. Couldn't really see any hatch, but those fish are about dumber than wild trout. Also picked up a couple smallmouth, biggest was maybe 10 inches, but I stretched it so hard I was afraid it would snap. water was low and clear and felt pretty warm, probably upper 70's. I was the only angler, though a group of folks came down and were searching the shoreline and shallows for something, perhaps frogs or turtles (?)
