Youghiogheny (Between Dam and Ramcatt), Fayette Co, 7/30/11

Fished the "Almighty" as I like to call it from sun up til about 10:30am. Was able to fool two fish. A 10" brown on the 2nd cast and a large brown trout pushing 18". Very exciting to catch fish on foam terrestrials that I tied the day before. Had about 10 rises total with only the two takers.

whew! That's a chunky fish! Nice catch.

Finally a report on the Yough where someone actually fooled some fish. Good job. That is challenging water.

Fished it from 5 until dark last night. Very little action. Caught 1 small rainbow and had 2 other rises. Seen a couple nice browns caught on spinners.
