Yough River, Somerset County, 6/30/20

Where are you fishing the Yough? many of us East Pa folk don't head out that way enough. What about the Cheat and Monongahela. Are all these rivers Driftable?

Fished the Yough from the dam to ramcat a number of times. Its been about 10 years since I"ve been there. Wait until the fall (Sept. Oct. Nov.). Water temps. getting back to normal. Have had many on that I could not Land. Some approaching 2'. If fishing nymps, you must get the fly/ flies bouncing off the bottom. The only way I could do this was tie a tag line 12" below droppers and add split shot. Also a staff for the river is a MUST. Ramcat was my favorite place. Always had the place to myself.
