My brother and I fished Saturday and Sunday. Despite the high waters we managed to catch some nice fish. One was a 17"brown and a 16.5" golden rainbow. (which was probably the fattest fish i ever caught) On saturday i didnt notice too much bug activity. I did however catch a quill gordan, but there wasnt enough for a good hatch. I caught most of my fish on a #14-16 hairs ear, #14 pheasent tail and a #14 prince nymph. On Sunday the water went back down but it still was off color. I nice hatch of black caddis came off (I did not have any with me). Next weekend should be better since the water will be lower.

Nice report Nate. Thanks for sharing!

Nate,
Very nice golden rainbow. A lot of people have mixed feelings about them, but I don't think anyone can deny that is a beautiful fish.

nice report and nice fish but my ornery nature makes me want to ask innocently if that Quill Gordon put up a good fight.:]

I despise them, but that is one hell of a beauty.

I got the joke pete lol. He took off like a bullet straight for the trees but he had the backbone to fight him in.
